Mobile security: people need trustworthy prompts

We ask people to pause, read the prompt and make a sensible decision.

That becomes harder when the prompt itself can mislead them.

Blackhat.ie’s Firefox for iOS article from 27 October 2026 raises a useful point about mobile security. Mozilla describes flaws that could make call prompts display misleading text or appear to come from a different website.

Our view at INCA: awareness training needs reliable software behind it.

Keep mobile browsers updated, check that managed devices actually receive those updates, and make it easy for colleagues to report something unusual.

When someone encounters a convincing prompt, curiosity and a quick report are more useful than blame.
